PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH), a provider of advertising services, reported a 403.4 percent increase in advertising revenue to Rp136.91 billion in the third quarter of 2023, compared to Rp25.81 billion in the same period last year. Based on this achievement, the company has set a target to generate a total revenue of Rp150 billion by the end of 2023.
DOOH’s CEO, Vicktor Aritonang, stated that the increased revenue and a growing and diverse range of advertising clients have prompted the company to continuously innovate in order to provide effectiveness and efficiency in the advertising business. “Whether it’s media owners or suppliers, or media users such as brands and agencies, DOOH hopes to continue to be a collaborator and accelerator for the advertising industry in Indonesia,” said Victor in a statement quoted on October 13, 2023.
This significant increase is also supported by the development of the advertising ecosystem through Guaranteed ROAS (Return On Ad Spend) as one of the flagship services that provides a solution for Brand Owners or Advertisers, especially in the FMCG industry, amidst declining purchasing power and the influx of imported products.
In addition, collaborations with various advertising agencies are crucial for the company’s development in expanding its reach to various clients, which ultimately has a significant impact on the company’s financial performance.
The company’s advertising client segments are diverse, consisting of government agencies and state legal entities such as the Ministry, the Police, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and others. As for the BUMN (state-owned enterprises) segment, it includes companies such as Kimia Farma, Bank BRI, as well as private companies like Kalbe, Wings, Nivea, Counterpain, Kapal Api, and others. (*)
