PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA), as one of the automotive component manufacturing companies, is optimistic that its sales growth target of 25 percent by the end of 2023 can be achieved. The President Director of DRMA, Irianto Santoso, stated that this optimism is supported by the company’s consistent performance, which has consistently exceeded targets until the third quarter of 2023, as well as the continued positive trend in the national automotive industry.
“Considering the continuous growth of the automotive industry in the country, we are optimistic that DRMA will once again achieve positive sales growth in the fourth quarter of 2023. Therefore, we are confident that DRMA’s sales growth target for 2023 can be achieved,” said Irianto, quoted in Jakarta on November 14, 2023.
In the first nine months of 2023, DRMA’s sales increased by 59.7 percent annually to Rp4.3 trillion, driven by the company’s success in gaining trust to supply components for other models and acquiring new clients.
“Thanks to the increased sales, DRMA recorded a net profit attributable to the parent entity of Rp519.4 billion, or a 107.8 percent YoY increase in the 9M23 period,” he added.
Furthermore, DRMA is currently targeting the development of various electric vehicle components, in line with the increasing number of electric vehicle manufacturers planning to enter Indonesia.
“Furthermore, as a manifestation of the company’s commitment to support the development of the electric vehicle industry in the country, DRMA continues to actively develop the supporting ecosystem for electric vehicles, including the development of battery management systems,” said Irianto. (*)
